A happy spring to all! The forsythia is in bloom and so are poets’ voices. You want it short and powerful, profound and groovy, artful and cheeky? We’ve got all that covered in this issue plus a pinch of future trepidation and, oddly enough, optimism. Stanza Cannon: we have a ball blasting poetry in your ears. on a serious note, we continue to be humbled by your submissions, and we can’t wait to receive more. Poet: Jack Ferguson
Bio: Jack Ferguson is an aspiring third generation purveyor of stories who likes dabbling in flash fiction such as poetry and short stories while embracing Autism. He lives in the middle of nowhere with his muse: a black cat called Jet (an unusual name for such a being, he thinks) whom he has written a poem about with perhaps many more to come.

Bio: Gerard Sarnat has been nominated for the pending Science Fiction Poetry Association Dwarf Star Award, won San Francisco Poetry’s 2020 Contest, the Poetry in the Arts First Place Award plus the Dorfman Prize, and has been nominated for handfuls of Pushcarts plus Best of the Net Awards. Widely published, Gerry is a Harvard College and Medical School-trained physician who’s built and staffed clinics for the marginalized as well as a Stanford professor and healthcare CEO. Currently he is devoting energy/ resources to deal with climate justice, and serves on Climate Action Now’s board. Gerry’s been married since 1969 with progeny consisting of four collections (Homeless Chronicles: From Abraham To Burning Man, Disputes, 17s, Melting the Ice King)  plus three kids/ six grandsons  — and is looking forward to potential future granddaughters.
