Netizens, lend us your ears. The very first issue of Stanza Cannon is here, and we are incredibly excited to get this grand experiment rolling. If this is your first visit, Stanza Cannon is a quarterly zine dedicated to publishing spoken poetry. You’re encouraged to find out more about our origin story and mission statement here, because this intro is dedicated to the poets daring enough to wager on a start-up zine with naught but a vision to its name.
Mixing the academic and avant garde, Issue No. 1 is an intimate affair that features 5 poems by 3 poets, all of whom should be applauded for their trifecta of excellent imagery, crafting, and delivery.
