Bio: Jaydn DeWald is the author of two books, The Rosebud Variations and Sheets of Sound, both from Broken Sleep Books, as well as several limited-edition chapbooks including A Love Supreme, winner of the 2019 Quarterly West Chapbook Contest. He is Associate Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia and serves as managing editor for C O M P : an interdisciplinary journal.

Bio: McLean, who has been published in Rising Phoenix Review, Rise Up Review, and Sparks of Calliope, began writing poetry in childhood and continued as a way of processing symptoms and truths associated with McLean’s early diagnosis and experience of bipolar I disorder. McLean stopped writing for a long period but recently started again. The poet believes that sometimes we can describe a thought or feeling in a way it’s never been said before. Then the unique and the universal settle together, calling for art, but also connection.

Bio: Aurynanya writes beautifully brutal, devastatingly dark poetry and prose. Her work has appeared in Hellbound Books, Hearth & Coffin, Move Me Poetry, and more. Aury, in 2022, created the limited edition “Between Blood and Bone” dark poetry book. She will soon release a revised version of her “My Heart is Out for Blood,” book; a short story collection called “Jonathan”; as well as her “A Girl Can Nightmare” collection. She lives tucked away in darkness at her Massachusetts home, where she is owned by two black cats.
